If you have previously added mods through the Skyrim game menu, I recommend removing them all since all mods will be managed through Vortex.Also, you'll start Skryim through Steam as usual, not through Vortex.
Note that with this guide you'll get an older version of Vortex (1.1.15), but IMHO it is still a better choice than Mod Manager 2. My mind is simply blown by how amazing the graphics look. To me who came from playing Skyrim on an old PS3 back in the day to playing on PC.
